Interstate Grating
KBR Construction, Inc. was selected to be the General Contractor for the design and construction of the Interstate Grating manufacturing facility for West Ridge Investments. The building consists of several pre-engineered metal buildings with large overhead and sliding doors. The building includes 7.5 TON and 25 TON top running overhead cranes systems. The project includes a separate building for painting. The scope of work includes major electrical and mechanical systems throughout.
Hobbs Generating Station – Hobbs, NM
KBR Construction, Inc. worked with ColoradoEnergyManagement on the construction of the Hobbs Generating Station in Hobbs, New Mexico. KBR Construction, Inc. designed and constructed the Administration Building as well as several of the ancillary buildings at the power plant.
MS Properties
KBR Construction, Inc. is the general contractor for the construction of a 144,000 sf warehouse facility at the International Center west of the International Airport. The project includes a pre-engineered building structure and job site cast-in-place concrete tilt-up walls. The completed project includes offices, restrooms, and all of the amenities of a large shipping/receiving and warehouse facility.
Granger Electric Co-Generation Plant
KBR Construction, Inc. has constructed a 6,000 square foot facility at the Trans Jordan landfill in South Jordan, UT. The facility includes office space, and a complete methane gas recovery, compression and cleaning station. The recovered and processed gas will be used to power the electrical generator units. Surplus power will be sold to Rocky Mountain Power and Murray City. The building structure is a pre-engineered metal building manufactured in Houston, TX by United Structures of America. The office area conventional construction utilizing 8” CMU’s for the exterior walls and engineered roof trusses.

Ewing Irrigation Products
KBR Construction, Inc. constructed an office and warehouse facility in Midvale, UT for Ewing Irrigation. Ewing has been a national supplier of quality products and services to irrigation and landscape professionals since 1922. Their facility has provided expanded office and warehouse space for the Salt Lake metro area. Upon completion Ewing has been able to better meet the needs of their customers. KBR Construction, Inc. is proud to have been involved in this project.
Lagoon Coaster 2007 – Wicked
KBR Construction, Inc. was again involved in construction activities at the Lagoon amusement park in Farmington, UT. This time KBR helped design and construct the Wicked ride load and unload station which also serves as a support for the ride track. We also incorporated a 16’ diameter corrugated tube as part of the ride launch area. It was a very difficult challenge to coordinate the work between all of the various engineering and design disciplines and the ride manufacturer in Germany. The result proved to be a most popular attraction at the park. KBR Construction, Inc. is happy to have been involved in the construction of a another major project for Lagoon.
Legacy Properties – Two-Story Office Facility – American Fork, UT
KBR Construction, Inc. was selected by All American Development to construct their new office building in American Fork, UT. The building is constructed of class ‘A’ steel, masonry, stucco and stone veneer. The competed facility provides 21,000 sf of office space. KBR Construction, Inc. was pleased to work with All American Development on the construction of this project.
